Limits

  • The border is added around the picture, so the output is bigger than the original (nothing is covered up).
  • JPEG has no transparency. Rounded corners and the drop-shadow canvas are filled with the canvas colour unless you save as PNG or WebP with "Transparent canvas" ticked.
  • Caption text uses your device’s standard sans-serif font, is one line and is shrunk to fit; it only appears with the Polaroid style.
  • Animated GIFs keep only their first frame. Metadata (EXIF, GPS) is not kept because the picture is re-drawn.
  • Everything runs on your device; images are never uploaded.
