Limits
- Lossless clean-up only rewrites the file structure. Many PDFs are already optimized and will not shrink; the tool then tells you so and returns the original.
- Rasterize mode redraws every page as a JPEG picture. Text can no longer be selected, searched or copied, and the file can even grow if the PDF was mostly text.
- JPEG 2000 images inside a PDF may not render in rasterize mode.
- Password-protected PDFs are refused (there is no password prompt yet); remove the password first.
