Limits
- System voice: the audio is produced by your device or browser, not by this site. Which voices exist, and whether they work offline, depends on your operating system.
- Some voices are downloaded by the browser from its vendor when used; install an offline voice in your system settings for guaranteed offline use.
- Word highlighting only works with voices that report word boundaries (many do not). Hindi needs an installed Hindi voice.
- Text is read in short chunks so browsers do not stop after about 15 seconds.
