Limits

  • CommonMark only. Tables, strikethrough and task lists (GitHub-flavoured Markdown) are not supported because the GFM extension is not installed; they show as plain text.
  • Raw HTML in the Markdown is shown as text, never run. The result is also cleaned with DOMPurify and shown in a sandboxed frame.
  • Links keep only http, https and mailto addresses. Images cannot load in the preview or in the downloaded file (a strict content policy blocks all network use).
  • Limit about 1 million characters.
