File Kit
Extract ZIP
Open a ZIP safely: see what is inside and download the files. Refuses zip bombs and unsafe paths.
- 1Add your ZIP file
- 2Pick options
- 3Click Run
- 4Download result
Limits
- Limits are checked while the directory is read and again while each file is inflated: 10,000 entries, 1 GB in total, 500 MB per file, and a compression ratio over 100:1 (for files over 4 MB) is refused as a zip bomb.
- Names that are absolute, start with a drive letter, contain ".." or a NUL byte are never extracted; they are listed as rejected. Names are shown as text only.
- Password-protected (encrypted) entries and compression methods other than stored/deflate are skipped with a message.
- Each extracted file is checked against its CRC-32; damaged entries are skipped. Folders are flattened in the download names (a/b.txt is saved as a_b.txt).
- Up to 200 files get their own download button; if there are more, the rest come back in remaining-files.zip.
