Limits
- Every pixel becomes pure black or pure white, so photos, colour and shading are lost. Keep your original.
- Use "Adaptive" for pages lit unevenly or with shadows, "Global (Otsu)" for even scans. Neither straightens (deskews) or crops the page.
- Images over 50 megapixels are refused. JPEG output is lossy, so its pixels are not exactly pure black and white; choose PNG for that.
- Several images come as a ZIP plus the individual files.
